Life at the Ryan House

Gideon and I just finished our first official week on our own. After three weeks off, Jason had to go back to work this past week, so the new normal has begun. I will admit that I've had those days where I didn't eat breakfast until 11, or didn't shower until 3, but overall, things are going pretty smoothly. Gideon has already gained back all of his birth weight, plus some, so that proves we're having success in the nursing arena. He's also grown in length and has a couple of outfits that don't fit anymore! Wow, after only 3 1/2 weeks!

With the weather as nice as it is, we've been on a few walks, which he seems to enjoy. But, we still haven't gone on any driving errands without Jason yet, simply because I'm still recovering from the c-section and am trying to limit the weight I lift - which means no baby in the carrier quite yet. I go back to the doctor in a week or so and should be cleared for everything then.

I'll try to post some updated pictures sometime this weekend. Gideon has changed so much in just the short amount of time he's been here. And, I didn't think it was possible, but he's gotten even cuter!! :-) Until then...
