33 weeks down... 7 to go...
I am going to try hard not to make this entry sound whiney, but somewhere along the past couple of weeks, this pregnancy thing has shifted from "fun" to "not so fun anymore." I don't know if it happened when I was looking for the family-sized bottle of Tums at the grocery store, when I was shopping for a special pillow to sleep with to keep my hips and back from hurting all night, or when I saw little stars and passed out for half a minute on our plane ride from Texas to California. But, whenever it was, I'll admit I've been looking forward to "the end" a lot more these days.
That being said, there have still been good times to cherish as well. Jason and I spent a week in California at a Worship conference at Saddleback church (home of Purpose Driven Life pastor, Rick Warren). Despite the heat and that one little incident on the plane, it was a very good trip. We had some free time to spend at Disneyland and Lagoona Beach. And the conference itself was really, really enjoyable. I'm lucky in that my husband has a job that actually leads to fun conferences. I couldn't imagine getting excited about an insurance conference or a technology expo or something like that. But, a Worship Conference? I looked forward to it as much as I looked forward to enjoying the cool Pacific breezes. They say you should go on one last vacation together before your baby is born (a "babymoon" as opposed to a honeymoon), so we can check that off our list now.
We also finally finished the nursery. I will try to post pictures soon, but for now I'll just say that the work that went into that one little room has made me never want to move because I don't want to have to repeat it any time soon! My 7-mo picture will come soon too. We haven't been able to take it yet because it's been raining non-stop since we got back from sunny CA. So until then, that is all for now.

Wow! Emily, the room is awesome. I had no idea you where so talented. Did you paint the walls yourself? Congrats! Keep us posted.
