Great With Child

The other day at church, one of our pastors saw me walk by and exclaimed, "Oh, Emily! You are great with child!" It made me laugh because I know it's true! As the end draws closer, I keep thinking I can't get any bigger, and yet I do. I know I've been documenting the progression with pictures taken in our back yard every month, but I had planned from the beginning to get some "professional" pics taken some day. I didn't want the artsy pregnancy photos where the mom-to-be is draped in nothing but a flowy white fabric that covers her essentials but leaves her belly bare and bold like a full moon. I just wanted something sweet and motherly. So, once again, my multi-talented husband stepped up to the plate and took a series of pictures while we were strolling along the campus of Baylor University a couple of weeks ago. These are a couple of my favorites because they really show his artistic abilities:



















The first one was taken in the Library on campus, and the second in the Music building. I figure that's pretty appropriate for me and Jason!
