Little Men
Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. I've been too busy staring at this sweet face...

And this sweet face (that doesn't stay still nearly as long as it used to)...

And making use of my new sewing machine (The shirts are some I made for the boys for father's day. Yes, Jason has a matching one too. No, I do not have a husband-approved photo that includes him, but I assure you, they are oh-so-cute together!)

I guess that's what happens when you don't have any daughters. You start dressing up your boys! :-)
In the "what's new?" category, Canaan got his first two teeth at only 6 1/2 months old. The poor thing was miserable for almost a week, but he is now doing great and has also started sitting up on his own. He's also babbling more and more and has officially said his first word, "Da-da." Was it in context? Who knows. But he loves saying it over and over again, and Jason loves answering to it.
Gideon is a laugh a minute. One of his favorite questions is, "What can I do for you today?" which is very sweet, but would be even sweeter if he actually followed through with my answers.
Today he was playing outside and kept coming in and out asking if he could turn on the water. The answer was always no, and I told him to quit coming inside and asking me the same question over and over again. So, he went back outside only to return a moment later and ask, "What happens if I come inside and ask you other questions?"
I gotta say, I love, love, love my boys these days!

Emo, the shirts are too cute! Linda would be so proud of you! It is totally something she would have done. Gideon is looking more like your dad everyday, except with blonde hair. Canaan is a cutie pa tootie. Love the brown eyes. He looks like he is a charmer. Is he?
Love you guys, Aunt Melanie
