The Story Behind the Cross

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Galatians 6:14

If you have some time, check out this week's episode of Real Life, which is our church's TV ministry. It is about thirty minutes long, and it goes through the whole story behind the 170-foot cross we just erected on our campus. There are several interviews with my dad, Steve Maricelli, as he and his company oversaw the construction of it.

This Easter, I'm especially proud of the Cross, both the historical cross of Calvary and the present-day one on the Beltway. And since you asked, :-), yes, I'm also especially proud of my dad for his part in merging the two.
