Bluebonnets

Jason took these pictures a couple of months ago, but we had to wait to share them until after Father's Day. (Both Papa and Granddad got photo gifts this year!) Normally, families drive out toward the hill country where the wonderful Texas bluebonnets bloom like crazy along the highway each spring. But we were fortunate to find a random patch of them just ten minutes from our house! They turned out to be some of my most favorite photos of Gideon EVER! (I just love having a multi-talented husband!) :-)

And, you can almost tell that he's wearing his beloved "boops" in this last photo. Afterall, it wouldn't be a Texas-themed photo without them! (Now there, don't all of you who have moved to other states want to move BACK to the homeland now!?)
