Fireproof

Our church sponsored a private screening of the movie Fireproof this weekend, and I can't stress this enough - GO SEE IT!

From the creators of Facing the Giants, this movie is about a firefighter and his wife who are on the brink of divorce. In one last attempt to save his marriage, the firefighter agrees (albeit reluctantly) to accept his father's challenge of a forty-day "Love Dare" to win back the heart of his wife.

The movie has all the makings of a Nicholas Sparks-esque love story, blanketed in the Truth of unconditional love. It also has action, emotion, and plenty of humor to break up the heavy dramatic scenes.

Oh, and did I mention, it also stars Kirk Cameron! :-)

If you are married or ever plan to be married, this movie is a must-see!

On a related note, the female lead in the movie, Erin Bethea, will be at our church on Sunday, and if her schedule permits, I might be able to score a face-to-face interview with her for our church magazine! I'm a little excited about possibly being able to interview a "real" actress!
