"Artichoke"... Seriously?
It is so funny to see which words children choose to imitate. There is absolutely no logic in it that I can see. For example, Gideon was eating one day and I started naming all of the fake produce that we have in an arrangement on our kitchen table. Grapes. Berries. Apple. Artichoke.
"Arr-tar-oke!"
And thus began the beginning of Gideon's new favorite word. Why? I'll never know.

His other latest development is that he enjoys walking so much, he keeps trying to walk faster! And faster! And faster! So fast, in fact, that he has fallen once a day for the past three days and busted his lip. I just pray he doesn't knock out any teeth!
At any rate, we had a wonderful weekend full of fun with friends, but as I am on a time crunch right now, the details will have to wait...

Hey girl. The artichoke thing is hilarious. I cannot believe how big Gideon has gotten and how fast he really is getting around! Cooper and I had fun getting together with everyone this weekend. I hope we get to do it again someday.
